Our formulas are tested on our founders, Gwen and Lindsey, and never on animals. The Laundress formuals do not contain animal by-products.

Hot water and washing machines require a lot of energy. To pare down, we made all-in-one solutions optimized to perform with any water temperature, washing machine system, and load size. You can always save water as all our solutions are formulated for hand washing, too.

Named after the city of Nîmes, France where denim workwear was first produced hundreds of years ago, this candle has the quiet, cool quality of French indigo. Invoking earthy notes of violet, eucalyptus and blueberry, this holiday scent has dressed up provincial quality. Additional essences of almond and rhubarb mingle with darker wood notes and juniper berry while ambergris gives it a slight seaside minerality.
